Hello! This is a nice start to
Spring, as I have tons of news!
I am extremely excited to say that I
(along with my fellow
William Esper Studio graduates Sonya
Tsuchigane and Ricky Lewis) have secured the rights to Adam Rapp's Red
Light Winter. This is a play I fell in love with I first saw it
performed at the Barrow Street Theatre in NYC in 2006, and I have wanted
to perform the role of Davis ever since. We are aiming for a two week
run in September 2008. More news to come on this, so stay tuned :-)
I have been cast in the Staged Reading of
David
Caudle's One Hot Kitchen, directed by
Paul J. Michael. The reading is Monday, May 5th at The National Comedy
Theatre (NCT) 347 W. 36th Street and will begin at 7:00pm. The reading
is FREE, but if you are interested in attending you must call
212-239-3198 to RSVP, as space is limited.
I have also been cast to play the lead
role in the short film Dance With Me, written and directed by Adam
Harlan and produced by Berserker Films. Shooting is set for May 10th.

Neil March 19th, 2007: The latest and greatest: My episode of One Life to Live airs on Tuesday, May 1st. My re-enactment scene on The Maury Povich Show airs on Wednesday, March 28th. Neil March 7th, 2007: Hey guys! Has it really been almost two months since my last update??? Well, here it is: I just booked a speaking role on One Life to Live. I will be playing the role of a Chicago Cop. Filming is set for Monday, March 19th. I will post the episode air date as soon as I have it. On another note, I still don't know when the re-enactment scene I filmed for the The Maury Povich Show is airing. I check the website every week and it appears it hasn't aired yet. I will post the episode air date when and if I am able to find that information out. Neil January 23rd, 2007: Hey guys! This is my first official "Latest News" entry on my new website so I am very excited! Yesterday I found out I was cast as the "Peeping Tom" in a re-enactment scene for The Maury Povich Show. I filmed the scene today. Apparently, some poor lady in Oklahoma was being "peeped on" for 3 years and well, she's coming to the Maury Show to tell America all about it. My understanding is that this episode will be airing in February. Check back to find out the exact date and time. On another note, I have just completed my first semester in William Esper's Master Scene Study Class. I am proud to say I have been invited back for the spring semester. My first semester in this class was very exciting. I worked on scenes from two incredible plays: 1) The role of Jon in Tape by Stephen Belber and 2) The role of Adam in The Shape of Things by Neil Labute.Be sure to keep checking back for the latest news. And if you haven't done so yet, add me on Myspace. Neil |
