Artistic Team
Adam Rapp (Playwright) Is a Pulitzer Prize Finalist whose plays include Ghosts in the Cottonwoods, Animals and Plant, Blackbird, Nocturne, Stone Cold Dead Serious, Finer Noble Gases, Faster, Trueblinka, Dreams of the Salthorse, Gompers, and Red Light Winter (for which he received the Jeff Award for Best New Work 2005). Starting September 25th he will be directing his new play Kindness at Playwrights Horizons. A graduate of Clarke College Dubuque, Iowa, Rapp also completed a two-year playwriting fellowship at Julliard. David Newer (Director) Directing credits include

University, and is on the Acting Faculty at the William Esper Studio. Kate August (Stage Manager) Kate August is an elusive creature of
the off-off Broadway theater. Past projects include but are not limited to:
Blanche Survives Katrina in a FEMA Trailer Named Desire, 2Gents,
99 Degrees, 516 and the After Dark series sponsored by the
Potomac
Theater Company, and many other kamikaze theater events. They have
always been her favorite types of theater endeavors. She was last spotted on
off Broadway as Dancing Lesbian Nun #2, in Blair Fell's Burning Habits
(in which she also did the sound, stage managed, and assistant-directed).
She has studied with UAA in Anchorage Alaska, and The School for Film and
Television of NYC. She's worked within the Denver Center with The National
Theater Conservatory. Often times she can be found teaching "children how to
lie" in Long Island, or out in the Midwest touring with the Beijing Opera.
She also has a profound enjoyment of waffles... Christina Werkmeister (Set & Lighting Designer)
Christina has designed sets and lighting for numerous
plays in Manhattan and Staten Island, including
The Zoo Story,
Lone Star
and Dress
Suits to Hire. Christina produced and designed sets for the award
winning feature film
Liar’s
Pendulum. She received the award for Best Art Direction at the
2007 Long Island Int’l Film Expo and was given a nomination at the
Action on Film Int’l Film Festival. Christina graduated with honors from
the BA Program of the City University of New York with a BS in
Entertainment Production Design. While freelancing as a set and web
designer, Christina currently works as the Production Manager of the

RJ Osterhoudt (Sound Designer) Is originally from Buffalo, NY. He has worked at B.A.M. and the Nokia Theatre, and for the The View and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. RJ is also a musician and is currently recording an album. Havi Elkaim (Costume Designer) Is originally from New
Jersey. Her credits include: Ugly Betty, I Hate
Valentine's Day starring Nia Vardalos, and the independent film
Boreal. Havi will be assistant costume designing for the upcoming
film Solitary Man, starring Michael Douglas. She holds a B.A. in
Costume Design from Hofstra University. Dana Maddox (Fight Choreographer) Has directed and choreographed regionally The Wizard of Oz, Honky Tonk Angels, High School the Musical; and choreographed The Music Man, Nunsence, The Jude’s Law.
